"Daily Henry" was written over the course of couple of days on an HP800ct Pentium 160 laptop running Debian Linux. It is hosted on a BSD server from Verio, where I have a $25/month "Signature" account. Site updates can be made through any Web browser, or by file-copying the database tables between laptop and server.

The site is backed by a MySQL database developed using the phpmyadmin package. Site code was written in HTML and PHP using the free software package Bluefish as well as vi. PHP help came from O'Reilly's excellent PHP Pocket Reference. The header image was made with GIMP using the Windsordemi font, part of the "freefonts" package for Linux.

To do: a traffic tracking table, blog search, integration with milly.org and Henry homepage searches, and perhaps interface improvements.
